UK merchants can now accept credit cards that leverage the Discover Global Network from around the world
BRISTOL, 21 March, 2017 - Creditcall, the omni-channel Payment Gateway and EMV Kernel provider, and Discover Global Network, have expanded the acceptance of new payment options for UK merchants, including Diners Club International and Discover cards. This can help merchants in retail, hospitality, transportation ticketing, and parking attract new customers from around the world and give existing customers more flexibility in using their card of choice.
All new Creditcall solutions are as standard certified for Discover across all future processor and acquirer certifications, likely widening the reach of card acceptance.
“We pride ourselves in helping our customers to grow. It was crucial for us to give our customers access to Diners Club International and Discover cardholders around the world who want to be able to choose their preferred card brand when paying for goods and services online, in a store, in transit or car park” said Sian Bosley, VP of Business Development at Creditcall. “Businesses should not lose out on revenue just because they don’t support the third largest payment network* in the world.”
Creditcall merchants can start accepting Discover and Diners Club cards by notifying their processor or acquirer and by getting in touch with Creditcall.
Creditcall provides the tools to enable secure payment acceptance in-store, self-service, online and mobile. From retail and hospitality, to parking, vending, transportation or charity applications, Creditcall’s omni-channel Payment Gateway and EMV Kernels are at the very heart of its partners' businesses, enabling them to focus on what they do best.
Creditcall is an EMVCo Business and Technical Associate, a PCI SSC Participating Organization, a Mastercard accredited MEPSA company and member of the U.S. Payments Forum with offices in Bristol, UK and New York, USA.
