Bristol, UK – 22 June, 2018 – Creditcall, a Bristol based payments solution provider, is sponsoring the lovable Alex the Lion sculpture, based on one of the main characters from Dreamworks Animation’s™Madagascar film series. From 2nd July to 2nd September, Gromit Unleashed 2, led by The Grand Appeal, will see 67 uniquely designed sculptures of Nick Park’s Academy Award®-winning characters Wallace, Gromit and Feathers McGraw hit the streets of Bristol and the surrounding area to raise money for the Bristol Children’s Hospital.
17 out of the 67 sculptures are enabled by Creditcall to quickly and conveniently accept contactless donations of £2, £5, or £10. Alex (voiced by Ben Stiller in the movies) is famous for enjoying his life at the zoo and not initially wanting to be out there in the wide world. However our Alex will be out and about for all to see at Museum Square near the M Shed throughout the duration of the trail and will be ready to accept contactless donations to raise money for Bristol Children’s Hospital.
Creditcall has already installed additional donation terminals on site in Bristol Children’s Hospital, The Grand Appeal’s fundraising office and its Gromit Unleashed flagship store at The Mall at Cribbs Causeway. All donations are then routed through Creditcall’s payments gateway for instant processing. Creditcall’s CSO and CIO, Jeremy Gumbley has also privately sponsored a Feathers McGraw sculpture as part of his ongoing support of The Grand Appeal.
