NMI & Mastercard partnership enables tap on phone technology for Chicago-based SMB

NMI partnered with Mastercard, Celero Commerce and Global Payments earlier this year to launch Cloud Tap on Phone, enabling contactless payment acceptance via a mobile phone.
The Glen Ellyn Sweet Shoppe, located in the Chicago Suburbs, looked to this technology amidst the pandemic as a means to keep their doors open and quickly evolve the way they accepted payments by turning an Android smartphone into a contactless acceptance device.
