Creditcall sponsors contactless donation technology for The Grand Appeal Gromit Unleashed store at The Mall, Cribbs Causeway, Bristol.
Bristol, 17 July, 2017 - Creditcall, the global payments technology company, is proud to announce that it will provide its latest contactless payment technology to help raise money for The Grand Appeal, the Bristol Children’s Hospital Charity through the Morph: Still Naughty at 40! exhibition at The Mall at Cribbs Causeway, Bristol from July 14th until September 5th, 2017.
Card payments have overtaken cash payments, now accounting for more than 50 percent of all retail purchases in the UK of which 30 percent were made using ‘tap and go’ contactless cards. Creditcall’s latest contactless payments technology will enable visitors of the Morph exhibition and the Gromit Unleashed shop to make donations by simply tapping their contactless card, phone, or wearable devices when visiting the shop. The donations will contribute towards The Grand Appeal’s Emergency Department Appeal, which will support the reconfiguration of one of the country’s leading paediatric emergency departments.
“The Grand Appeal does fantastic work across Bristol, the South West and beyond and we are extremely proud to enable contactless donations at its Gromit Unleashed shop in Bristol” – Jeremy Gumbley, CTO at Creditcall
“The Grand Appeal does fantastic work across Bristol, the South West and beyond and we are extremely proud to enable contactless donations at its Gromit Unleashed shop in Bristol” said Jeremy Gumbley, CTO at Creditcall. “With a lot of avid fans of the Aardman characters amongst our own staff, who have also enjoyed the previous Gromit Unleashed and Shaun in the City trails in Bristol, we are pleased to sponsor and provide the latest contactless payment technology to help raise money for the Children’s Hospital in a convenient and effective way. I have many fond childhood memories of Morph and we wish him all the best on his birthday!".
It’s really exciting for us to have contactless donation points in our shop, and we are very much looking forward to seeing the positive impact it will have on donations.” – Helen Haskell, The Grand Appeal’s corporate partnerships manager
Helen Haskell, The Grand Appeal’s corporate partnerships manager added “We are so grateful to Creditcall for their generous support in providing a new fundraising platform for our Morph exhibition. It’s really exciting for us to have contactless donation points in our shop, and we are very much looking forward to seeing the positive impact it will have on donations in-store which will support sick babies and children being treated in Bristol Children’s Hospital.”
The exhibition celebrates all things Morph, as the beloved character marks 40 years since his creation by Aardman animation legends Peter Lord and David Sproxton. Fans will have the opportunity to delve into the world of Morph and Chas through hands-on activities including an interactive green screen, a cinema showcasing some of the dynamic duo’s most legendary moments and Morph model-making.
