SCHAUMBURG, IL – AUGUST 30, 2022NMI, a leading full commerce enablement technology company, has hired Robert Hoblit as its chief revenue officer (CRO) to support NMI’s scalability and growth, as well as enhance its customer success team.

Hoblit brings more than 20 years of experience in software and strategy to his new role at NMI. He most recently served as CRO at DigiCert, where he accelerated growth by integrating and transforming a global sales team. NMI brought Hoblit on as its CRO due to his proven track record of delivering for leading private equity investors by growing channel-based SaaS businesses and unlocking value from mergers and acquisitions.

“I’ve always been passionate about empowering companies to reach their full potential, and I see so much of that in NMI,” said Hoblit. “NMI is committed to helping its customers scale, in turn fueling our own growth, so it will be great to extend my skills to support this mission and enable merchants to build a successful business through innovative payment options.”

Hoblit’s immediate priorities focus on providing value to NMI’s partners and the success of their merchants. Specifically, he’ll be building out a world-class sales team consisting of new partners and channel teams, as well as a customer success team to contribute to NMI’s partners’ scalability. Hobilt’s experience in product management will also lend itself to working with NMI’s product and tech teams to ensure the organization realizes its vision of full-commerce enablement from signup to payout.

“With our fast-tracked growth over the last few years, we needed an accomplished CRO to help us scale revenue operations and sales efforts; and Robert fit the bill perfectly,” said Vijay Sondhi, CEO of NMI. “The payments industry is quickly evolving, and we’re looking to take advantage of that momentum to build better products and services, and Robert will be instrumental in distributing our new solutions to our existing and new partners’ initiatives.”

This news comes on the heels of three other leadership hires for NMI, including a chief marketing officer, chief financial officer, and senior vice president of engineering. This leadership team expansion will help NMI serve its more than 3,300 partners and 274,000 merchants worldwide, processing more than $2.1 billion in payment transactions.
